Winter 2022
Dear ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë supporter,
As we celebrate the season of gratitude, I reflect on your generosity and that of others like you who make a difference at ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë by investing in our world-class people and programs.
In September, ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë hosted the UA Foundation Board of Directors at a reception where we showcased the Troth Yeddha’ Indigenous Studies Center Initiative. That evening, nearly $100,000 was donated in support of the This initiative moves ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë one step closer to the construction of what will be a center of belonging for Alaska Native and Indigenous students everywhere.
This fall I had the privilege to deliver ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë’s Convocation. I invite you to check out the — we have a lot to celebrate! Notably, through the generous gifts from our past, present and future donors, ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë students and programs continue to thrive.
As we celebrate the power of transformative philanthropy at ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë, it seems fitting to appreciate our legacy donors — an extraordinary group of people who included, or plan to include, ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë in their estate plans. ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë is deeply grateful for the gifts from our past that continue to have a tremendous impact today, and we are humbled by the philanthropy we have yet to see.
I wish you a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends, and thanks for choosing ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë.
